Meetings Evelyn Krueger, Jen Melitski, Brenda Cagle Open the Meeting The meeting was called to order at 7:15pm Minutes of Last Meeting The minutes from the last meeting were approved. Treasurer's Report The treasurers report was read and approved. Starting June 1st $4000 in General Fund and $3039.58 in VG fund.
Planting Day:
New Business: Brent Kovalchik from the Village Board will be the new liaison to Village Green. Welcome Brent! Need to hire a paid waterer - Dan said that it would be about $10/hour (about $50) to water newly planted village trees on Firehouse lane and by Municipal parking lot. VG will remind homeowners to water new trees on their properties. Chamber of Commerce requested $900 from Village Green for wine barrels to plant flowers in by businesses in the Village. After discussion, it was decided that Village Green funds should be used for tree planting purposes and not for wine barrels. Voted not to fund for wine barrels. Honey Locusts by X-tra mart (at jct of Rt
9/199) need to be pruned. NY State complained about visual obstruction
of traffic light. Brenda will check with arborist on price to prune
trees correctly. VG will talk to owners of Xtra Mart for coordination
of efforts/funds. Motion to Close Meeting The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm Next Meeting: Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 7:00 PM at the temporary Village Building.
