Old Business:

Pruning - citizen pruning put off until Spring.

ReLeaf Conference - over 100 people attended.  Brenda reported about the conference workshops.   Region 3 DEC ReLeaf conference - could partner with them in the future for tree workshop.

Spring Planting - Brenda reviewed tree locations for plantings in 2007 (13 to do on list + row of evergreens.)  At the next planting, we need to move some brick from Route 9.   Tentatively April 28 or May 5th depending on the nursery availability.

Because of the DOT Main Street Tree program, we will not plan to plant trees on Route 199 or Route 9 because that is where the state will plant.

Arbor Day - April 27.    Certificate to commercial business for tree planting/village beautification.  Businesspeople/locations discussed.

Bakeless Bakesale-  will wait until Fall.

NYS DOT Main street planting program - Jen has letter drafted for Mayor and will get the Mayor to sign off on it and mail this week.  If accepted for the program, the State will plant 40-50 trees along state routes starting in Spring 2008.

Tree City USA  - the Village of Red Hook received the Tree City USA designation for the 5th year in a row. Jen will send out press releases to local papers.
