Minutes of Last Meeting

The minutes from the last meeting were approved.

Treasurer's Report

The treasurers report was read and approved.

Old Business:  

DEC Grant: We should have a contract by Monday for the grant. Brenda will check on receiving partial payments. 

Fall Planting: Evelyn sent out 13 letters for request for trees, and only 1 response received was a NO. Plant 1 by Lutheran Church to replace the one that died Evelyn met with IGA people about planting trees. They were OK with 3 trees, if OK with the highway department (because of vision issues). 

Tree removals: There is at least 1 tree to be removed by the LUtheran Church. Brenda has a list of tree removals for the fall. We're almost ready to put it out for bid. 

Pruning - will put out for bid (arborist recommended)

New Business:

Postmaster: Brenda talked to the postmaster and the trees will be removed. There was storm damage. Trees will be planted in the spring to replace.

Need to update "Street Tree Recommendation" list. 

Person from the CAC will head Town of Red Hook Tree initiative. Will do a cooperative tree planting this fall between the Town and The Village. 

FALL PLANTING DAY - Last Saturday in October or First Saturday in November. Order needs to go in soon. 

MEETING DAY CHANGE: 3rd Thursday instead of 3rd Tuesday.
