Open the Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by Brenda.

Minutes of Last Meeting

The minutes from the last meeting were reviewed with 1 correction.

Old Business:

Grant Application -Evelyn Krueger, Brenda Cagle and Linda Keeling have been working on the Grant Application for the 2005 Tree Planting Cost-Share Grants for Urban and Community Forestry in New York State which is Due October 31st. The final edits are being completed for submission. Brenda added budget information to the application.

Treasurers Report -No treasurers report was available at the meeting. Evelyn will have an updated report at the next meeting.

Fall Planting Day -

	The date has been changed from October 29th to Saturday November 5th at 9:00 AM.
	Dave Seymour distributed a list of sites for the trees to be planted in the village. 15 trees will be planted at this planting. 9 of the trees will be planted next to the municipal parking lot (5 Japanese tree lilacs and 4 crabapples). The other 6 will be planted at designated sites in the village. Immediately following the meeting, the meeting attendees commenced outside and staked the planting locations for the trees next to the municipal parking lot.
	Kids from the 4-H will attend the planting to plant spring flower bulbs.
	Lunch and refreshments will be provided for the volunteers.
